As part of the project group LINKED, an autonomous parking system with inductive energy transmission and modulated communication has been developed.

By using an innovative ultra-wideband-based localization system, the robot has been enabled to execute high precision parking on a designated parking spot. An inductive charging system for electronic vehicles based on Qi-standards has been created. The usual electric vehicle low-level-signaling through IEC 61851-1 has been replaced by modulation of wireless energy transfer. Automated charging control in accordance with ISO/IEC 15118 has been altered and expanded for wireless charging processes. The extraordinary commitment of the students and the interdisciplinary, economically relevant topic led to the particularly successful completion of the project group.
