The European research project SecInCoRe (Secure Dynamic Cloud for Information, Communication and Resource Interoperability based on Pan-European Disaster Inventory) has successfully started with the contribution of the CNI on May 1, 2014. The aim of the project is to enhance the cross-border cooperation of police, emergency services, fire departments and other rescue organizations. For this purpose, two subject areas have been defined within the project. The first one deals with the analysis of past and current European crisis situations and deduces an information database for future operations. Within the second subject area, the development of a cloud-based Common Information Space is focused on in order to provide rescue organizations with the results and the deduced services of the first part of the project.

The first meeting of the consortium which consists of eight partners took place from June 4 to 6 in Paderborn.
