The German Rescue Robotics Center (DRZ) is hosting the challenge as part of the BMFTR-funded German-Japanese 6G cooperation activities in October at Europe's largest first responders training base. The participants from the 6G research hubs 6GEM and 6G-life and the Japanese research institute NICT will demonstrate resilient 6G network solutions for mobile rescue robots and validate how multi-connectivity approaches function in real search and rescue scenarios. CNI will contribute its multi-link technology SEAMLESS and its adaptive video streaming solution RISE to combine cellular, mesh and satellite communications to a resilient 6G networking solution which enables immersive control of rescue robots.
