CNI presented recent results of the 6G research at 6G conference in Berlin with BMBF-Minister Stark-Watzinger and over 900 participants.

 

The conference took place from 2 to 4 July 2024 in Berlin and was organized by the BMBF-funded 6G Platform. With over 900 participants from Germany and abroad, the event of the German 6G research initiative has quickly developed into a leading international conference that provides a comprehensive insight into the latest developments and research projects relating to the upcoming 6G mobile communications standard. Leading experts from research and industry share their visions and progress and present demonstrators that have already been developed.

 

We were particularly honored by the interest of BMBF Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger and the CEO of 1&1 Mobilfunk Michael Martin in our demonstrations.

 

 

 

 

Those complex demos featuring our HELIOS reflector with mmWave connectivity, real-time robotics control enabled by the xApp SAMUS, and immersive control of connected robotics enabled by the SEAMLESS protocol could only be realized thanks to the excellent collaboration with our 6GEM and 6G-ANNA partners Fraunhofer IML & IPT, Ericsson and DRZ - Deutsches Rettungsrobotik-Zentrum e.V.. 

It was also a pleasure to contribute to panels related to Intelligent Reflective Surfaces (IRS) (organized by Ehsan Tohidi, Aydin Sezgin and Robert Schober) and connected robotics (organized by Slawomir Stanczak from TU Berlin).
