Best of the year prize awarded to CNI member at the annual academic celebration of TU Dortmund

The CNI team congratulates M.Sc. Niklas Alexander Wagner for receiving the award of the rector for the best degree of the faculty. Niklas completed his studies of electrical engineering one year ago by presenting his thesis "Design and Evaluation of Sidelink-based Joint Communication and Precise Relative Positioning for Robust Vehicular Positioning". The thesis was carried out in collaboration with the University of Oulo in Finland. Since the beginning of 2024 he is a PhD student at CNI and has recently presented his research paper on "Real-Time Predictive Scheduling for Networked Robot Control Using Digital Twins and OpenRAN" at the IEEE GLOBECOM 2024 conference.
